Suryakumar Yadav Named ICC Men's T20I Cricketer Of The Year 2022

Suryakumar Yadav, a star batsman for India, was named the ICC T20I Men's Cricketer of the Year on Wednesday. Suryakumar Yadav had a fantastic year with the bat, shattering a number of records and creating a benchmark that had never been reached in the game's shortest version. It was only in October 2021 that McGrath played her first T20 International; less than a year later, the Australian all-rounder was one of the contenders for the ICC Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year. She is one of the most exciting athletes in the world and the current World No. 1 ICC Women's T20I hitter. She also won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.

She opened the year against England with a scorching 49-ball 91* and followed it up with a three-wicket haul, showcasing her incredible all-around talent.

Thirteen fours and a six were scattered throughout her entertaining inning.

She had previously had success with the ball as well, returning 3/26 from her four overs and limiting England to 169/4. However, because of the aggressive approach McGrath employed and her courageous batting, the total looked low until she and captain Meg Lanning successfully chased it down with 18 balls remaining.

She scored 128 runs in five matches at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games, average 42.66. She was selected as the ICC Women's Player of the Month for August of last year as a result of her outstanding performance.

McGrath completed 2022 with style as well, turning in outstanding performances during the December tour of India. She scored 146 runs in five innings at an average of 48.66 during the tour, which covered five matches, including a knock of 70* off 51 balls in the second T20I. In the series, she also bowled in the last T20I and recorded a wicket.

Tahlia scored 435 runs at a 62.14 average in 16 games last year, with the best score of 91* and four half-centuries in 11 innings. Additionally, she recorded 13 takedowns at an average of 12.84, a 6.95 economy rate, and a top bowling mark of 3/13.
